Learning how to compare and pick occupations will be valuable to you now and later.
Most people know about few occupations when they make their first career choice. They may miss out on occupations they might have wanted, and often come to them far later in life. Job experts forecast that as many as 50% of the jobs you'll hold in your lifetime don't even exist yet, so learning how to pick occupations is a lifetime skill that will serve you again and again.

Learn to make the most of any job you're in.
When you discover your favorite skills and apply them well, you enjoy your work more.

Gain confidence that as things change, you can adapt!
When you see how many occupations use your skills and interests, it will be far less stressful if you discover that you DON'T like one occupation once you get into it. You'll know you can make a change.
