Where do Agilities come from?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) maintains longitudinal data on characteristics of all formal occupations in the U.S. economy. Within 1,000 occupations, a representative sample of individuals is periodically surveyed on key work activities, skills, abilities, and knowledge necessary for effectiveness. Based on its independent analysis of the BLS data, The DeBruce Foundation determined there are fundamental themes of work activities across occupations. These themes are referred to as Agilities, and they appear in varying degrees in all jobs in the economy.
